The Telegraph’s enterprise editor James Hurley is set to join Albion Drive as its director of content strategy.

Hurley will take up the role in September, joining the agency’s management team with the responsibility of overseeing news and content strategy development, while leading new business and agency growth alongside Bryce Keane, director of Albion Drive.

Keane commented: "Having worked with James for a number of years, I have the utmost respect for his journalistic experience across a wide range of entrepreneurial business sectors. At Albion Drive, we've been very lucky to be able to build a team of some of the most skilled entrepreneurial PR practitioners who understand how best to support the ecosystem in which we operate. James will become an invaluable part of the senior management team and will help lead the agency in our next phase of planned growth, ensuring that all client work meets the highest standards of journalistic quality and integrity. "

Hurley, who has spent over three years at the Telegraph, added: “Having covered some of the UK’s biggest entrepreneurs, and worked with many agencies in that time, Albion Drive have consistently proven to have their finger on the pulse of London’s growing start-up scene. Having worked with Bryce for a long time now, and watched him bring London’s start-up scene together via his work as part of 3beards, I am excited to be joining at a time of rapid growth for the agency and having a more hands-on role in building the next generation of UK and international entrepreneurs.”

Albion Drive, launched last year as part of creative agency Albion London, recently grew its client roster to include Nominet Trust and also works with Code Club, Vizeum and venture capital firm DFJ Esprit.
