Google amongst the big brands celebrating US Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on gay marriage
Google, Mastercard, Smirnoff and Gap are among the big brands that have come out supporting the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act, which has effectively reinstated marriage rights for same-sex couples in California.Gap posted an advert with the message ‘Always Be One’, while Smirnoff supported the ruling with its own proposal for equality. Mastercard was quick off the mark, and purchased Promoted Tweets around the #gaymarriage hashtag as well as sending various tweets about how ‘Priceless’ acceptance is. The credit-card brand is also currently promoting an NYC Pride sweepstakes initiative on Twitter.
When different people come together it's not just beautiful, it's #Priceless. All around the world #AcceptanceMatters!
