With spousal abuse hitting the global headlines in the wake of the Nigella Lawson/Charles Saatchi events, Archibald /Williams has, with coincidental timing, developed a fundraising event for White Ribbon Australia, emphasising the fact that each week, at least one Australian woman is killed by a former or current partner.

The campaign urges people to have a night in with friends, family and colleagues to raise funds and help put a stop to violence against women.

"White Ribbon Night was developed to complement White Ribbon Day in November, as a way to raise funds for our primary prevention initiatives,.” said Libby Davies, CEO at White Ribbon Australia.

“We are hopeful that White Ribbon Night will be a success for years to come so we can continue to put a stop to men's violence against women."
