Smartclip announces global ad partnership with Philips Smart TV portal

Smartclip, the multiscreen video and brand advertising platform, today announced a partnership with TP Vision, the manufacturer of Philips branded TVs.

Jean-Pierre Fumagalli, CEO at smartclip, said: “We are proud to be working together with TP Vision on such an international basis. This partnership significantly expands our inventory and will give advertisers the possibility to reach their target groups on Connected TV with considerable reach – across different content options and on the platform itself.”

The partnership will cover Philips Smart TV offering in Western Europe and Russia, and will see customers receive standardised and ad-server based digital advertising.

Albert Mombarg, head of Smart TV at TP Vision, said: “We are confident that the partnership with smartclip will bring us closer to the international advertising community and that our Smart TV platform will bring added value for brands. We are convinced that the advantages of the Connected TV – self-determined entertainment – will change the way consumers watch TV, reducing linear TV consumption in favour of demand content.”
