Park Inn by Radisson brand appoints Umpf for social media

The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Umpf to handle social media for its Park Inn by Radisson brand.

In handling the EMEA contract, Umpf will create a new social media strategy, community management, social stunts as well as wider campaigns for Park Inn by Radisson.

Nico Tempelaere, EMEA social media director for Rezidor, said: “This is an exciting year for the Park Inn by Radisson brand as we continue our fast expansion with a succession of new hotel openings.

“Our ambition is to replicate our physical development expansion in the digital space and we have appointed Umpf to work with the team in Brussels to take our social offering to the next level.

“Having held pitches earlier this year with a number of different European agencies, we felt Umpf was the best party for us because of the team’s travel experience and it is also an award winning agency with a proven track record in producing creative and innovative social campaigns.”

Umpf MD and founder Adrian Johnson added: “We are delighted to be supporting Nico and his team. The brand has great potential in the social space and we have created some exciting campaigns across a range of social channels which will bring the brand’s personality to life.”

Johnson and his team will report into Tempelaere, who is based in the group’s European headquarters in Brussels.
