Jason Elm set to join DDB California in chief creative officer role

DDB Worldwide has announced that Jason Elm will join DDB California as its chief creative officer, effective immediately.

Elm has joind DDB California from Deutsche LA where he was executive vice president, group creative director, overseeing the creative accounts for Pop Secret, Emerald Nuts and Kettle Brand Chips as well as the Sony PlayStation account.

At DDB California Elm will lead the creative department, reporting to CEO Mike Harris.

Harris commented in a statement: "We are very excited to welcome Jason to our team. Jason was recently, and rightly so, named to Business Insider's 'people most-sought after by rival agencies' list.

“He is a creative genius and a superstar in the industry and I have no doubt that his creative vision will elevate the level of our work, across departments."

Elm added: "DDB is a global creative powerhouse. California wants to contribute its share of noteworthy, groundbreaking work that's recognized worldwide and I'm excited to be a part of it.

“It's time to shift into the next phase: Get more innovative, and do higher-profile work for our clients."
