Skittles has launched a new interactive advert on YouTube, developed by DDB Chicago.

The ad shows Tommy, a teenager, sitting on his grandma’s couch. He then picks up a pink china unicorn, which promises to turn into skittles if he smashes it on the floor. Tommy does just that and enjoys his sugary reward. He then tries again with another figurine, which simply breaks into pieces. End of ad…not quite.

YouTube viewers can make Tommy smash other ornaments, which utter equally weird comments, by clicking on them.

Ewan Paterson, chief creative officer, DDB Chicago developed the campaign for Skittles.
