Former Southampton and England star Matt Le Tissier has launched Samsung's latest round of the Win A Pro Contract competition, this time with three professional playing contracts up for grabs.

Launch: Matt Le Tissier got this year's competition off to a start

League Two's Wycombe Wandered has joined League One's Swindon Town and Leyton Orient to take part in the contest, in which a nationwide search gets underway for the country's untapped footballing talent.

Le Tissier said at the launch of the competition: "Becoming a professional footballer is a long and difficult process. I was fortunate to have a fantastic playing career.

"Samsung Win A Pro Contract is the starting point for three talented young players to try and do the same. I wish every entrant the best of luck."

Kayden Jackson and Jack Sherratt won the competition last season, picking up contracts with Swindon Town and Leyton Orient respectively. The pair will begin training with the first team squads later this month.

Applications are open on Samsung Football's Facebook page.
