Lewis PR acquires global Davies Murphy Group

Lewis PR has acquired Boston-based PR and marketing consultancy the Davies Murphy Group, strengthening its worldwide network of offices.

The Davies Murphy Group (DMG) has offices across the US, UK and Germany and its technology company client list includes Dell, IBM, Mastercard, DataCore, Giganet and Qumas. DMG will become a wholly owned division of Lewis PR and report to the agency's executive vice president, Morgan McLintic. Founder Eric Davies and business partner Andy Murphy will keep their roles.

CEO of Lewis PR, Chris Lewis, said: "There can be no clearer statement of our global ambitions that this deal with DMG. This is the third acquisition Lewis has made in the last five years and we're proud to welcome the DMG team."

Lewis PR now has global revenues of more than $45m, $20m of which comes from the US arm of the business.
