Edinburgh Rugby managing director David Davies will answer questions tweeted to @edinburghrugby using the #AsktheMD hashtag today as it launches a live streaming platform on its revamped website.

Launch: Edinburgh Rugby is introducing a live streaming service

'Edinburgh Rugby Live' has been built into the homepage of the site and will feature behind-the-scenes access to the team and the ground on match days, as well as introducing Twitter as its medium for fans to ask questions during live interviews.

Davies said of the service: "It will enhance our interaction through Twitter and help us connect with thousands of fans, in real time, whether we're home or away.

"With around 40 per cent of supporters now accessing the website on mobile devices, the live streaming has the potential to add a really exciting element to the whole Murrayfield match day experience. The interactive Q&As will allow us to introduce our players directly to our fans, while also tackling their most important questions."

For non-Twitter users, Edinburgh Rugby will also accept questions via email.
