Yahoo’s SVP of User Experience Design, Tim Parsey, has reportedly left his job with the internet giant after two years.

According to AllThingsD, sources have not confirmed why he is leaving now, or where he is headed.

Parsey has previously worked with Apple, Microsoft’s entertainment and devices unit, Mattel and Motorola.

At Yahoo, he led the redesign of many of its major properties, including its homepage, Flickr photo-sharing site, and email.

His departure comes amid a flurry of activity at Yahoo this week, after CEO Marissa Mayer bought Tumblr for $1.1bn, rolled out a major update of Flickr and reportedly put in a bid for Hulu.
