Blair Dingwall named student of the year at Scottish Student Journalism Awards
Blair Dingwall of Cardonald College Glasgow was named student journalist of the year at the annual Scottish Student Journalism Awards ceremony in Glasgow on Thursday.
Awards: The Caledonian Chronicle won Publication of the Year
The ceremony was hosted by BBC Reporting Scotland investigative journalist Mark Daly and Reporting Scotland presenter Jackie Bird appeared as a guest speaker. The students' submissions were judged by Daily Record and Sunday Mail editor in chief Allan Rennie, Herald editor Magnus Llewellin, Sunday Times Scotland chief sportswriter Douglas Alexander, Guardian journalist Kirsty Scott and former political editor of the Sunday Post, Campbell Gunn.
