Following the global merger of Digitas and LBi in February, DigitasLBi and Razorfish have revealed new, agency-specific international leadership.

Former CEO of LBi International Ewen Sturgeon has been named as the new CEO of the merged DigitasLBi International network, with Michael Karg, previously COO international and president EMEA of Razorfish and Digitas, named CEO of Razorfish International.

“As our two premium marketing and technology networks - DigitasLBi and Razorfish - aggressively grow and mature internationally, each brand demands dedicated, accountable, inspiring leadership to advance the agency’s unique operational, growth and innovation agenda on behalf of their respective clients.

“I have worked with Michael for several years and have personally witnessed his courage and aptitude to take on any challenge with grace and accountability. Congratulations to Michael and Ewen,” commented Bob Lord, Razorfish Global CEO, who also oversees both global brands under the Digital Technologies Division within Publicis Groupe and will oversee Karg in his new role.

As CEO of the DigitasLBi International network Sturgeon will be based in the London office and will report to DigitasLBi global CEO Luke Taylor, who added: “Ewen is a remarkable, adept leader, and in his capable hands, working alongside our global leadership, I am confident that DigitasLBi will continue to flourish.”
