Cheil Worldwide announces appointment of Chris Chalk as chief strategy officer for Europe

Chalk, who has joined Cheil from WPP’s Land Rover team as its global strategy director, has spent five years as UK chairman and chief strategy officer Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA.

His appointment is the latest of a number of senior appointments at Cheil that include additions to Cheil UK in the form of Duncan Cargill as creative director and Fiona Fitzgibbon as head of Out of Home.

Commenting on the appointment SJ Kimm at Cheil said: “Over the past year Cheil has made a considerable investment in building a uniquely talented team with integration at its core. Chris’s appointment is a vital element of our on-going growth plans, and he brings not only an outstanding knowledge and experience of the industry with him, but also immense energy and enthusiasm to drive growth both within our business and for our clients. Having Chris oversee our strategy for Europe will be of benefit to the entire global Cheil network.”
