Betfair announces Arena as lead agency on £15m European and UK media account

Betfair has announced that Arena has won the £15m consolidated European and UK media planning and buying account following a competitive pitch.

Henry Daglish, the deputy managing director at Arena, led the Betfair pitch. He said: “To have won this re-pitch is a major accolade, and is testament to the talent and passion we have running through our agency, as well as our strength in this sector. We are very much looking forward to working with Betfair across Europe.”

Arena worked on Betfair’s offline UK media account last year. The total re-pitch consolidated the entire European and UK offline and digital display media accounts.

Betfair’s brand director Mark Ody added: “Betfair is entering an exciting new phase and I'm delighted that Arena will be a key part of it.

“Arena has demonstrated great expertise, passion and an understanding for the business, and they certainly have digital at the core of their proposition. We look forward to continuing to work with them.”
