LOVEFiLM named as exclusive UK broadcaster of Vikings
Vikings, the top rated US cable series, is to premiere exclusively in the UK on Amazon’s LOVEFiLM platform from 24 May.
The deal means TV fans this side of the pond can stream the show via LOVEFiLM Instant, the first time a television series has had its first run on the platform in advance of traditional broadcasters.
Recounting tales of warfare, sex and family the show has been a ratings winner in the States, aided in no small part by a cast which includes former Calvin Klein model Travis Fimmel and Academy award winner Michael Hirst.
