Almost four-fifths (79 per cent) of consumers feel that their mobile devices are a secure platform to use when accessing sensitive financial information, research from Mojiva has found.

The research found that 75 per cent of consumers are just as comfortable accessing their financial accounts from a mobile device than from a laptop or desktop, while 82 per cent of mobile users access their finances by using apps or mobile sites whilst on the move.

As well as the global mobile ad network finding that concerns about security on mobiles are rapidly fading, it was found that financial ads are also growing.

It was discovered that over half (55 per cent) expect to engage with smartphone ads over tablet, while 71 per cent of consumers think that mobile ads are an effective way to discover information about financial services.
