M&C Saatchi has appointed Antonia Harrison, who previously held the role of marketing and sponsorship director at Bernie Eccelstone's Formula One Management, as its new international development director.

Harrison, who will join the agency this month, said: “M&C Saatchi has a great brand, a unique structure, a compelling philosophy of Brutal Simplicity of Thought, and some great people. This unparalleled combination will give me a head start in our new business growth plans.”

In her new role she will report to Moray MacLennan, CEO at M&C Saatchi Worldwide.

He said: “With the official launch of our NY office last week, we feel the network is pretty much complete and it’s time to up the pace on international new business development. We needed to find someone to help us achieve this. Someone who reflected the entrepreneurial M&C Saatchi spirit. Antonia is without doubt that person.”

Harrison has almost 17 years’ experience, and has worked with brands such as Coca-Cola, Evian, P&G, News International, and L'Oreal.
