Galabingo.com has announced its latest consumer marketing drive focussed around its daily prize pay-out of £2m.

Entitled ‘Winning Faces’ the activity sees the Galabingo.com revealing its biggest winners as it launches a national search to find the individual whose face best conveys that winning feeling. The competition winner, who will be chosen by a public vote, will then go on to star in the new Galabingo.com advert and meet the newly-reformed pop band Blue as well as winning a cash prize and an iPad.

To spark interest in the campaign Galabingo.com has created photo shopped images of the ultimate celebrity female and male winning faces. Each face is made up of five famous celebrity winners, with the female face featuring Dame Helen Mirren’s BAFTA hair, Adele’s eyes, Kate Moss’ nose, Kate Winslet’s mouth and Jessica Ennis’ face. The male counterpart takes Daniel Craig’s hair, David Beckham’s eyes, Alan Carr’s nose, Alan Sugar’s beard, Simon Cowell’s smile and Louis Smith’s face.

In support of ‘Winning Faces’ the bingo site has also revealed winners data such as the luckiest age for women is 37, and for men is 58. Central Scotland is the luckiest region, followed by the South West and Stoke-on-Trent takes the honour of luckiest town.

Entry to the competition is via a bespoke Facebook app where members of the public will also be able to ‘like’ their favourite entry. The campaign will be supported by traditional and social media activity.

Alison Digges, director of Galabingo.com, commented: “This marketing initiative ties in perfectly with Galabingo.com’s fun, friendly, feel good brand, while the Facebook entry mechanic and prize package will really appeal to our player demographic. All in all, we are confident that this initiative will appeal to both first timers and ardent bingo fans alike, and really get across the fact that bingo is a friendly, sociable community.”

The competition is set to run until Friday 24 May.
