Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design has engaged Together Design to create its visual identity, printed materials and signage ahead of its official opening this week.

The identity is designed to be sleek, minimal and timeless, with the signage complementing the architecture of the Soho-based college. Together Design chose a monochrome scheme for both the internal and external signage in order to work equally well for students in the daytime and at evening events.

The college’s rooms have all been given London-themed names which have been set as titles on white plaques the size of Vogue magazine covers. Navigational signage takes the form of a leaning totem in the reception area with over-sized white numerals on the white walls at each level.

Of Together Design’s work, Sue Forbes, principal of the college, said: “They have creatively taken the nascent brand values of the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design and transformed them into a modern, elegant visual identity.”
