Snickers has once again joined forces with AMV BBDO to create two new ideas following on from last year’s ‘You’re Not You When You’re Hungry’ campaign.

The two new executions – ‘Foosball’ and ‘Google’ aim to get people to relate to the insight that hunger makes people ‘off their game’ as well as interacting with key hunger moments.

‘Foosball’ sees AMV BBDO reimagine the classic game taking over all the foosball tables in London foosball bar, Kick. Snickers Foosball sees the regular figurines replaced with their hungry alter egos, each of the figurines was designed with a flaw that symbolised a hunger trait and made them completely useless to play. The characters included Old Granny, a frail character who couldn’t kick the ball as she was made of rubber; Cry Baby, a little girl who was too short to reach the ball; and Drama Queen, a ballerina whose legs spun on contact with the ball.

The second film ‘Google’ builds on the digital success of AMV BBDO’s Snickers campaign activation on Twitter last year. The agency worked with Google technology to bid on misspellings of the most commonly searched term, each time someone misspelt a word they were given a tailored message to ‘Grab yourself a Snikkers’ as ‘Yu cant spel properlie wen hungrie’.
