The Australia Trade Commission has announced that it has prepared a free online presentation for exporters who want to learn more about business prospects in Malaysia, set to join the world’s developed economies by 2020.

Malaysia will achieve developed nation status by 2020

The webinar will allow Australia based exporters to access the material from their own desktops. The Malaysian economy has averaged 7% growth over the last 25 years.

“Many Australian companies have contributed to this economic growth and realised opportunities that have arisen from it,” said Susan Kahwati, Austrade’s Senior Trade Commissioner in Kuala Lumpur.

“Malaysia wants to achieve developed-nation status by 2020. Australia has strengths in key industries that public and private-sector organisations need to help realise this goal.”

The presentation includes input from business development managers discussing trends and the opening of the market for Australian firms.
