We've all heard the collective gasp when two female celebrities turn at some gala occasion wearing the same outfit.. .but a man and a woman?

Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs . . . lookalikes

Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs, America's most famous editor-in-chief and her favourite designer showed up to the New York City premiere of "The Great Gatsby" in the same floral jacket, reports Huffpo.

Amy Astley, Teen Vogue's editor-in-chief, captured the pair in a matching Prada look from the label's spring 2013 collection. She posted photos to Instagram captioned, "Double good!"

Anna wore white pointy-toe pumps; Marc sneakers and black and white floral socks.

Huffpo commented, " It turns out even fashion royalty isn't exempt from a dreaded doubled look, " adding, "We've all heard Anna and Prada said in the same breath before. Would wearing the same outfit as the notoriously icy editrix have you shaking in your stilettoed boots?"

Wonder how the conversation went? Second thoughts: Could it be that they actually planned the whole thing?
