McCann Melbourne have set an Australian benchmark by achieving a record nine nominations in the D&ADs, a “huge honour” for the agency.
“Woo! Go McCann! A new record! We couldn't be more thrilled. A big thank you to all our staff and our brave client Metro Trains for making this possible,” the agency said via Facebook.
The nominations for Metro Trains 'Dumb Ways to Die' campaign cross the board from TV & Cinema Advertising, Digital Advertising, Writing, Art Direction and Radio Advertising.
"All of us at McCann couldn't be happier with what's gone on at D&AD this week," national ECD John Mescall said.
"I don't think there's any question that D&AD is the toughest, purest show in the world and just getting in book is a major achievement. So to have the most nominated campaign in the world at D&AD 2013 is a huge honour for us.”
