Kevin ConroyKevin Conroy

A $10 million Federal funding boost aimed at small business has been provided to kickstart the Digital Enterprise program.

Stephen Conroy, minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy has called for applications from local organisations, which will benefit from grant funding, face-to-face support, free group training.

Small to medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations will also be eligible for funding support.

“The Digital Enterprise program provides to help improve the way business is done and how services are delivered online,” the Federal Government said in a statement launching the initiative.

“Not-for-profit charity organisations in the Gold Coast, Gosford and Wollongong will be targeted in round four, with the program helping groups to make the most of the opportunities from greater digital engagement due to the NBN.”

The application round closes on the 29th April.
