A relaunched GlobalRichList.com will go live on Sunday as it marks its 10-year anniversary.

Relaunch: The new-look website goes live on Sunday

London-based creative company Poke handled the relaunch, having launched the original in 2003. The website going live on Sunday will coincide with the 25th publication of the Sunday Times Rich List.

A statement from Poke said: "The concept challenges the perceptions promoted by Forbes and Times rich lists that western readers are comparatively poor as the real figures tell a contradictory story.

"In 10 years since the original launch a lot has changed, both in the underlying data and though huge shifts in digital media. When it originally launched no-one had conceived of YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, smartphones, responsive design - all of which now feature heavily in the brand new site."

The site has had around 12 million hits in 10 years.
