Sweatband.com appoints 10 Yetis for PR

Sport and fitness equipment retailer Sweatband.com has announced the appointment of 10 Yetis to handle its PR, as it looks to expand awareness of the brand.

The six month PR campaign will also involve blogger outreach in a bid to improve awareness of the site amongst passionate sports and fitness communities.

Maz Darvish, co-founder and director of Sweatband.com, said: “10 Yetis provided the right balance between ideas, track record and their PR focus for me. As an online retailer, ensuring the right members of the media know who we are is important, but just as important and easily affected by PR is the ability for customers to find us. Links to Sweatband.com from authoritative sites, whether through product reviews or wider ideas are perhaps even more valuable to us than a mention in a print national.”

10 Yetis will be reaching out to the fitness community; targeting relevant websites and bloggers as well as connecting with journalists to promote the www.Sweatband.com website and product range.
