Three British members of the hacktivist group Lulzsec have pleaded guilty to a number of cyber-attacks on a range of high-profile targets; including the NHS, Sony, 20th Century Fox, Arizona State Police and News International.

Ryan Ackroyd, Jake Davis and Mustafa al-Bassam pleaded guilty to a campaign of digital disruption after coming to the attention of both the CIA and Serious Organised Crime Agency following a string of attempts to hack into websites and computers.

These took place over an eight month period in 2011 but were brought to an end following the arrest of the groups apparent leader, Hector Monsegur, who then turned informant.

The trio will be sentenced on 14 May alongside a fourth individual, Ryan Cleary, who pleaded guilty in June of last year.
