British Airways has unveiled Nicole Scherzinger as the brand ambassador for its recently-launched First Class route to Moscow.

The airline chose the singer to front the campaign as she is more than familiar with the jet set lifestyle, currently spending her time between Los Angeles and London.

“I spend a lot of time doing the LA commute, so my preference is to fly British Airways First Class,” commented Scherzinger.

Speaking of Moscow, Scherzinger added: “The first time I visited Russia was with the Pussycat Dolls. My first impression was that it was a beautiful place with incredible architecture and lovely people.”

The new Moscow route includes all the benefits of British Airways First Class service such as free food and drinks, free baggage allowance and seat allocation as well as no booking charges when using a debit card.

Scherzinger's appointment follows British Airways' decision to use Myleene Klass to promote its summer schedule.
