Yorkshire Cancer Research has announced the appointment of Emma Coates as partnerships manager, where she will aim to drive and strengthen relationships with businesses and organisations throughout the region.

Coates said: “Being able to put my skills towards such an important cause is very motivating and I am passionate about getting strong partnerships established within Yorkshire to raise vital funds for cancer research.

“From sponsoring students to funding a much needed research machine there are endless means for companies to fund specific projects. I specialise in creating bespoke partnerships that are mutually beneficial, from engaging with employees to event sponsorship.”

The charity looks to provide cancer patients in Yorkshire with access to ground-breaking treatments and clinical trials, while working in partnership with other charities and organisations to advance global understanding of the disease.
