Appleton Estate Rum has revealed a number of changes to its agency roster across the board in the UK with the appointments of Cutlass Communications, Silver Chair Digital and Flourish following a four way joint pitch.

The new agencies have now been tasked with implementing comprehensive all round marketing activity for the Jamaican rum brand, including PR, digital and experiential marketing respectively.

“Appleton Estate are extremely pleased to be working with these three specialised agencies; these are agencies that deliver high quality creative plans that will help Appleton Estate grow to the next level,” commented Nick Worthington, Appleton Estate Rum brand manager.

Speaking of the appointment Cutlass Communications founding director Antoni Heatley said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to work on such a prestigious brand as Appleton Estate Rum. We’re working alongside two fantastic creative agencies, with a product that complements the Cutlass portfolio perfectly.”

Terry Childs, Silver Chair’s creative director described the appointment as a “huge opportunity” for the digital agency.

Independent brand experience agency Flourish Creative’s operations director Catherine Smee added: “We’re delighted that Appleton Estate Rum have chosen us to help bring their brand to life through experiential activity. It’s a real privilege to be working on this exciting, game changing project with such a premium brand.”
