Coty Beauty, parent company of Rimmel London, has engaged Splash Worldwide to create a range of videos to support its current raft of product launches.

Splash was selected for the video project following a three-way pitch to launch the brand’s Apocalips lip lacquer with a digital campaign in the UK.

The agency has created a number of ‘How-to’ videos which will be hosted on Rimmel London’s YouTube channel. Using stop frame animation and punchy, on brand graphical elements to convey the key product benefits and application tips.

“We continually had to revaluate the technology and our approach to deliver this campaign to really push what we could do to bring the message alive online. I am really happy with what we have produced, it’s a mini apocalypse in a banner,” said creative director at Splash Worldwide, John Beach.

The creative digital campaign aims to deliver the Apocalips message ‘The end of colour as you know it’ through a range of rich media advertising featuring long-time Rimmel London brand ambassador Kate Moss.
