SAINTNICKS reveals Duttons acquistion deal

SAINTNICKS has announced the acquisition of South West design agency Duttons.

The agency, founded by former-McCann Erickson Bristol MD Fraser Bradshaw last year, now has over 20 staff and has relocated to a new base in central Bristol at Temple Quarter.

The Duttons management team have since joined the board of SAINTNICKS as the merger became effective from 1 March, Bradshaw remains CEO. Commenting on the acquisition Brashaw said: “This will make a significant contribution to the future growth plans for the agency. We are delighted that Duttons has joined SAINTNICKS. It’s great to have such respected senior people in the agency. We have produced some great work this year and we trust that our planning focus and a confident, creative product will enable us to be really progressive for our clients."

Felicity Kelly, MD of Duttons, confirmed the move to an integrated offering and described it as an exciting opportunity for the design agency. She added: “Bringing together our strength in brand design, with the strategic planning, through the line skills and digital capability of SAINTNICKS makes a compelling combination.”

SAINTNICKS creative director Steve Davies has also revealed the appointments of Nick Livingstone, ex-group technical director of McCann Erickson Birmingham and Bristol as head of digital, and former creative director for McCann Erickson Bristol John Heywood.
