R/GA has announced the opening of a fifth location in the US and it second within California with the launch of R/GA Los Angeles in Santa Monica, California.
Expected to expand to 30 employees within the year, the new office is key to the growth strategy of R/GA Los Angeles with a focus on digital product and service design, content creation, storytelling, and technology-application development.
Long term R/GA staff Tara Greer, ECD, experience design; Mark Laughlin, ECD, visual design; and Luke Stiles, senior technology director, will head up the operations. Steve Weinswig, the VP managing director of R/GA’s San Francisco office, will act as interim director for the Los Angeles offering.
Los Angeles has long been a part of R/GA over the years, with its deep pool of talent and a wide range of industries and clients in southern California,” said Bob Greenberg, chairman and CEO. “With a strong leadership team in place to guide the new office, we are excited to begin this next chapter.”
Joining Greer, Laughlin, and Stiles in LA are Andy Sullivan, managing director, business development, and Chris Sullivan, senior producer. The team has been tasked with concentrating on current R/GA LA-based clients as well as new business opportunities.
