Servicing and repair company Kwik-Fit has unveiled its latest campaign, ‘It’s what your car would choose”, featuring a car that drives itself to Kwik-Fit.

Created by adam&eveDDB, the TV advert suggests that if cars could choose, they would go to Kwik-Fit. The ad shows a car leaving its driveway, chased by its bewildered owner, driving to its local centre where it becomes clear the car has been drawn to Kwik-Fit’s offers.

Media planning was handled by Mediacom and sees the ad running nationally across ITV, Channel 4, Five and digital channels. The TV creative is also supported by radio, direct mail and in-centre POS activity. The radio executions follow a similar format to the TV ads but this time listeners can hear the cars sat-nav take control of the journey to direct the driver to Kwik-Fit.

“The campaign is designed to appeal to drivers by demonstrating that these offers are the only choice to make. This light-hearted campaign brings the car to life, giving it a personality and the opportunity to choose all the fantastic offers available at Kwik-Fit. At a time when motorists’ budgets are being squeezed, Kwik-Fit shows drivers that they can save money without having to compromise on service,” commented head of marketing for Kwik-Fit Karen Richards.
