News-kiosk app lekiosk has formed a partnership with ASUS which sees its newsstand for digital magazines promoted on the hardware manufacturer’s new content platform, ASUS@vibe+.

ASUS tablet users will have access to over 800 English, French and Italian-language titles via lekiosk’s signature user interface which will be hosted within the entertainment and content service ASUS provides to its tablet users.

The partnership with ASUS aims to further the brand’s reach within the Android market and follows a successful Series B funding round, which raised $7.1 million from CM-CIC and FSN PME CDC Enterprises in November 2012. ASUS’ line of tablets includes the Nexus 7, the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, the Transformer Pad TF300 and the MeMO Pad.

lekiosk co-founder and head of partnerships, Robin Sabban, commented: “The proportion of people who want to consume magazines through their tablets are increasing all the time. Thanks to this deal, we will also be able to deliver the same quality of experience and range of titles to the owners of tablets made by ASUS. We look forward to a successful partnership.”

Vira Chang, head of eBusiness service department of ASUS, added: “We are delighted to have reached this agreement with the leading supplier of digital format magazines. The 800 titles distributed by lekiosk are a worthy addition to our ASUS@vibe+ content service, and add real entertainment value for our users.”
