LIVESTRONG unveils new logo following Lance Armstrong doping scandal
Cancer charity LIVESTRONG has revealed a new logo in a bid to move away from its association with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.
Previously the logo was linked with ‘The Lance Armstrong Foundation’; the new imagination brand’s image aims to promote the charity as a standalone entity rather than an extension of Armstrong who cut all ties with the organisation in November of last year.
EVP of operations at LIVESTRONG Andy Miller commented: “The change is subtle, but it is substantive. The positioning of the bars suggests forward and dynamic movement.”
