Bauer Media UK unveils entertainment and lifestyle content hub led by Jo Parkerson

Bauer Media UK has announced that it is to launch a new entertainment and lifestyle content hub with the aim of sharing the content from all its platforms, including heat, Kiss, Empire, Magic, Closer, Planet Rock, In:Demand and Grazia.

Jo Parkerson, currently Global Radio’s head of artist liaison and showbusiness editor, is set to join Bauer Media UK as entertainment and lifestyle content director.

Parkerson will lead the hub to capture, distribute and share content from across the group, with the aim of this resulting in engaging and exclusive content.

Paul Keenan, chief executive at Bauer Media UK, said: “Bauer Media’s strategy focuses on delighting our 20 million consumers week in, week out. This new hub puts our engaging content at the heart of our offering, and ensures that consumers of our world-famous brands will have 24/7 access to the best news and exclusives from around the world, across multiple platforms.”

Parkerson will begin her role on 2 April.
