Viking, the direct mail and e-commerce brand owned by Office Depot, has kicked off its new spring campaign across TV and radio.

From today (Friday 1 March) the 30 second spots will run on ITV and Sky channels in the UK and on radio in Ireland.

Voiced once again by Chris Evans and created by Leeds-based Us and Them, the advert aims to position the brand as a one-stop-shop for small businesses and schools. The creative also retains the on-screen ‘doodles’ from the last initiative.

Targeted toward small and medium sized businesses the campaign leads with the value proposition – ‘Viking. Value Delivered’ – in a bid to emphasise its value for money, service and breath of range.

The TV and radio ads will be supported with direct mail, PR, social media and digital activity.

Sophie Christopher, head of events, PR and external marketing communications, commented: “Last year’s campaign was extremely successful in not only helping to communicate our range and depth of our products, but also to acquire new customers.

“This year we are looking to show that, thanks to Viking Value, we offer a quick, speedy one stop shop for everything a small and medium sized businesses requires – from a start up in its early stages right through to larger and more established company.”
