Independent consumer group Consumers for Health Choice has unveiled an integrated marketing campaign for it ‘Save Our Supplements’ initiative created by marketing agency Fox Communications.

The campaign is in response to renewed legislation threats from the EU to set maximum permitted level’s (MPL’s) in vitamin and mineral supplements. CHC commissioned Fox Communications to launch a new integrated campaign to draw attention to the issue and encourage people to sign a petition against the directive, putting pressure on local MPs and MEPs to take action.

The activity includes a brand new website, online and email marketing, a Facebook, Twitter and YouTube social media campaign, PR/media relations and in-store display marketing to be exhibited in independent health food shops in all 620 Holland & Barrett stores nationwide.

“Causes such as Save Our Supplements can be taken to the next level through intelligent use of online marketing. We’ve ensured that the message is spread far and wide as efficiently as possible and we believe that this is going to be a highly successful campaign for CHC,” commented Fox Communications director, Nelson McConnell.
