The founder of The Chemistry Group, Roger Philby, is set to reveal the secret to never recruiting the wrong person into your business ever again when he speaks to MiNetwork members at the next London Chapter meeting taking place in March.

The Chemistry Group's Roger Philby set to reveal recruitment insights

The estimated total average cost for an agency to hire a new member of staff in the UK is approximately £5,300 covering recruitment fees, legal fees and induction and training costs and so often that is wasted money as the new hire doesn’t remain with the company for long because, ultimately, they were not the right person for the job in the first place.

During his session, Roger will outline some sophisticated, but easily accessible techniques and research findings by which agency owners and recruiters for agencies can dramatically reduce the number of wrong hires they make and radically increase the amount of time people remain working with a company simply by creating an environment in which everyone can be brilliant at their jobs.

Roger has had an 18 year career at the forefront of innovation in Resourcing and Development. His work in understanding the cost of mis-hiring and it's impact on organisational effectiveness, has been deployed by a host of multi-national organisations. At The Chemistry Group, Roger continues to implement revolutionary approaches in the fields of resourcing & development, including leading the people aspects of the Energis Communications turnaround, quoted by the FT as "the UK's largest & fastest turnaround".

Richard Draycott, managing director of MiNetwork, said: “If you are an ambitious and growing agency then you need to come and hear what Roger has to say if you want to recruit the right people first time around. His approach to understanding what makes people tick, understanding their values and motivations coupled with his insights into how agency leaders can use this information to get the right people doing the right jobs in their agency is fascinating and will save you thousands of pounds in wasted recruitment fees in the future.”

The London Chapter meeting takes place on Tuesday 26th March at 6pm at the offices of Ve Interactive near Farringdon.
