Jameson Irish Whiskey is to roll out a new TV advert as the latest installment of its Tall Tales campaign.

The ‘Iron Horse’ advert, created by TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, is accompanied by an out-of-home campaign featuring three 18th Century inspired oil paintings featuring the antics founder John Jameson.

Wayne Hartunian, vice president of Whiskies and Cognac at Pernod Ricard USA, commented: “Jameson is incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing advocacy amongst consumers and the trade and highly unique and engaging advertising like this helps contribute to this. The prior Jameson TV ads have been extremely successful and award winning but this could very well be the best one yet.”

Director of Lawless and The Road, John Hillcoat helmed the latest TV ad, alongside Skunk, as the campaign aims to celebrate the brand’s heritage.
