As You Like It Holidays, an Edinburgh-based package holiday provider, has mounted a guerrilla marketing campaign in the streets of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Despite the February chill, As You Like It Holidays commissioned Kommando to provide teams of Spring Break girls in bikinis to pull over motorists and cab drivers, offering them a free car wash.

The guerrilla campaign comes following the appointment of Mint PR and London-based Marmaduke to develop a series of unconventional marketing initiatives, as the tour operator seeks to become the ‘Brewdog’ of the travel trade.

The Spring Break street theatre is the first of a series of ideas designed to raise the brand’s profile in unusual ways.

Mint PR CEO, Chris Fowler, commented: “'As You Like It Holidays is an exciting brand with a team who are not afraid to try new things. We're especially looking forward to promoting their 'Be a Giant for a Day' trips to the Kingdom of the Dwarves in China. We have high hopes for that campaign.”
