Welsh language public service television channel S4C has handed Zeffa its media buying contract.

Following a tender process, the three-year contract will see the Cardiff and Bristol-based agency act as the channel’s media planner and buyer to help promote the channel’s content beginning with immediate effect.

Zeffa’s managing director, James Robinson, said: “We are thrilled to have won the trust of S4C. It is a unique and treasured national broadcaster, and as television continues to develop in terms of both content and delivery, we intend to make sure the media planning and buying service we provide develops right alongside.”

Garffild Lloyd Lewis, director of communications, marketing and partnerships at S4C, added: “It’s very important to S4C that the people of Wales get to know about our fantastic content in a wide range of ways, which match the ever-changing lifestyles of the people we serve.”

The incumbent on the account was Golley Slater, which first won the contract in 2006.
