The Bristol and Bath Inward Investment Service, a partnership between Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire councils designed to promote the region to on-shore and overseas investors, has appointed Bath-based The Agency to handle the brand, marketing and promotional roll-out for the region’s Enterprise Areas and Zone.

Working with The Agency, the service is aiming to create activity which will attract major investment into the region over the next 25 years and open up opportunities for more than 6000 new jobs in the next five years. It will be promoted on an international stage by Bristol and Bath and supported by the Local Enterprise Partnership.

Matt Cross, head of inward investment for Invest in Bristol and Bath said of the appointment: “We have a unique and compelling proposition for corporate investors and developers that we will be showcasing at the upcoming MIPIM exhibition held in Cannes in March. We are delighted to have appointed The Agency, they presented a very strong strategic and creative pitch and we’re looking forward to seeing all the hard work come to life at the event.

Saman Mansourpour, partner at The Agency added: “We’ve worked closely with the four councils to define a brand that encapsulates the region’s enterprising culture and showcases its commitment to business now and in the future. The success of the region’s economy has always been down to its people, and the people that reside here now continue to shape a commercial success story that spans the globe. We’re proud to be part of it.”
