MSQ Partners has announced the appointment of Simon Ward as CEO of sister agencies Holmes & Marchant and Lloyd Northover.

The appointment will see Ward report directly to MSQ partners CEO Peter Reid and David Worthington, chairman of MSQ’s design group in the wake of Holmes & Marchant’s move to London to sit alongside sister agency Lloyd Northover.

Most recently Ward worked for West Coast USA digital agency Ayzenberg; before that he was Interbrand’s global business development director and prior to that Ward founded London marketing and PR agency, Promodus, which he later sold.

Ward also has a stint as UK CEO of Brodeur Worldwide under his belt and has held various roles both agency and client side, including board account director at Clark Hooper:BBDO (now a part of Proximity:BBDO), as well as marketing manager for Toyota’s Lexus marque.

Ward said: "Holmes & Marchant is an iconic design and innovation business with a reputation to match its impressive 45 year heritage. Similarly, Lloyd Northover is a valuable business with an international track record in major brand consultancy work. I’m looking forward to driving the next stage of growth for two such established names.”

Worthington added: “Simon has an impressive mix of agency experience and is familiar with international business, especially in Europe and the US. His knowledge will enable us to more easily develop a US offer to compliment our successful London, Singapore and China businesses. His branding and digital background is particularly appealing at a time when digital is so important. Simon is exactly the person we need at the helm of our London business to make this happen.”
