LOVE’s Dave Palmer revealed as chairman for Scottish Design Awards as extension announced

The Scottish Design Awards has announced that Dave Palmer, executive creative director at LOVE, is set to be the chairman on the judging panel.

Revealed as the entry deadline for the awards is extended, Palmer will lead the panel of creative to judge the design talent within the design and architecture industries, for both companies based in Scotland and those interested in entering work created for a Scottish client.

One of the founders of LOVE, Palmer has overseen projects such as the Johnnie Walker Houses in Shanghai and Beijing; as well as Umbro's brand installations at the National Football Academy.

Other judges on the panel include Andy Thomas from Huge; Jack Renwick, who previously worked at The Partners; Andrew Lawrence from Elmwood Leeds; and Ian Thomson from Thomson Brand Partners.
