Bacardi offers fans the chance to "Mix with Rafa" as part of new social responsibility campaign with Rafael Nadal

Bacardi Limited has announced a free prize draw competition to meet its global social responsibility ambassador Rafael ‘Rafa’ Nadal.

The activity, part of Bacardi’s ‘Champion’s Drink Responsibly’ social responsibility campaign, sees legal drinking age consumers in the UK offered the chance to “Mix with Rafa” at The Champions’ Party via an online promotion.

Fans who successfully answer three questions relating to responsible drinking behaviour will be entered into the prize draw with the lucky winners getting to meet Nadal face-to-face in Spain during an unforgettable VIP weekend.

The competition is running until 18 April on the ‘Champion’s Drink Responsibly’ Facebook page. As global social responsibility ambassador multiple Grand Slam winner Nadal has taken a personal interest in the promotion, helping the team select the location, entertainment, music, food and drink for the one-of-a-kind party.

“I hope my UK fans enjoy taking part in the latest “Champions Drink Responsibly” promotion. Drinking responsibly is a serious message and I believe we will reach and influence even more people with ‘The Champions’ Party’. Everyone can be a Champion if they plan their night out and drink responsibly,” said Nadal.

“I have really enjoyed sharing my favourite elements of a great party with the “Champions Drink Responsibly” team. I am sure it will be an amazing event and I look forward to meeting some of the Bacardi Champions in-person at the party.”

Jonathan Dennys, marketing manager, Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, added: “Bacardi Limited is committed to educating legal drinking age consumers about responsible drinking behaviours in the UK and around the world. With “The Champions’ Party’ we hope to spread the message that our consumers can have a great time if they have a plan for their night out and drink responsibly.”
