Glasgow 2014 has taken a long-term holding on Glasgow Airport Welcome Site in the build-up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The campaign will aim to raise awareness of the Commonwealth Games and encourage people to sign-up as volunteers at the Games.

Glasgow 2014 is working with the Leith Agency on the creative, which will be updated over the course of the campaign.

The holding was booked with JCDecaux Airport through Carat Edinburgh

Jacqueline McCormick Commercial Director of JCDecaux Airport commented: “We are delighted that Glasgow 2014 has taken ownership of this key gateway to Glasgow for this world-renowned sporting event.

“As we saw during London 2012, UK airports play an important part in generating a sense of anticipation and awareness ahead of the Games, as well as welcoming visitors and athletes to the host city.”
