Onefinestay has announced that Matt Turner has joined the group as VP Marketing.

Turner is now tasked with leading the brands global marketing strategy, accelerating onefinestay’s growth and supporting further city launches. His role will also focus on building digital campaigns and increasing the company’s online presence.

The ‘unhotel’ chain, which allows travellers to stay in distinctive homes while the owner is out of town, says the appointment marks a significant milestone for the company and furthers the brands commitment to building awareness of the service globally.

Joining onefinestay from BskyB, where he held the role of director of online sales and marketing, Turner now will oversee marketing at onefinestay, and is charged with establishing multiple channels to international guests, as well as raising awareness among homeowners.

Previously Turner was director of digital acquisition at American Express UK, and prior to that had general management roles at American Express, BT, and several US-based start-up companies.

Founder and CEO of onefinestay, Greg Marsh, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Matt to onefinestay. With further city launches in our sights, we have to tell the world about the unhotel. That makes this the right time to bring in someone of Matt’s calibre.”

Of his appointment, Turner added: “I’m thrilled to be joining such an exciting, vibrant business and high-calibre team. I’m looking forward to working with them to further refine an incredibly unique and compelling product, and helping to roll it out on a global scale.”
